Susan is an experienced Occupational Hygienist, Health and Safety Practitioner and Chemical Engineer. She has more than 30 years experience in industry, research and consulting, working for SMEs, government agencies and multinationals both in New Zealand and the UK. She primarily works as a technical specialist providing: health risk assessments; exposure monitoring; hazardous substance advice; control assessment; site specific training (for health effects, hazardous substance users, lab managers); critical risk and critical control projects; HAZOPs; SafePlus assessments and other specialist health and safety work.

Susan is a Chemical Engineer by trade and holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical and Process Engineering and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Technology. She is an Occupational Hygienist with full membership of the NZOHS, a Chartered Health and Safety Professional with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, a registered Certified Health and Safety Professional with NZISM and is Registered on HASANZ. Susan holds a NEBOSH International Diploma in International Health and Safety. Susan is based in the Hawkes Bay.
