Nina is an experienced health and safety professional with over 15 years experience in high-risk industries and government. Nina's experience spans across various industries, from transport with Auckland Council, construction with McConnell Dowell and Fletcher Construction, to oil and gas exploration with Geokinetics and health and safety support for small businesses. Her professional achievements include recruiting and training local island nationals for HSE roles, securing significant financial funding for worker education, and reducing IVMS infringements by an impressive 65%. She has a track record of making a tangible difference in business understanding and implementation of best HSE practices.

Nina’s skills include strategic HSE planning, assurance, systems development, coaching and mentoring, staff training, incident management, and fostering culture change initiatives. Nina takes a practical approach, fostering open dialogue and collaboration to ensure that HSE change is embraced by stakeholders. Nina also enjoys working with small businesses offering tailored HSE solutions.

Nina holds a Diploma of Work Health and Safety and certifications in ISO standards and is a registered Practitioner with the New Zealand Institute of Management (NZISM).
